Shinto Shrine Locations – Ghost of Tsushima Wiki Guide

Below are all the Shinto Shrine Locations in Act 1 – Rescue Lord Shimura which is the Izuhara portion of the map.

There are a total of 7 shrines, and two of them require you to have the Grappling Hook.

Golden Summit Shrine

Golden Summit Shrine Location: Golden Temple

How to Get to Golden Summit Shrine: This shrine can be found southeast of the Golden Temple. Start climbing towards the summit and you’ll see a woman who will greet you with a warning. There’s a sign that reads “These torii gates lead to Golden Summit Shrine, sanctuary of Amaterasu, kami of the sun” just to the left side of the torii gate.

Mending Rock Shrine

Mending Rock Shrine Location: Isonade Coast

How to Get to Mending Rock Shrine: In the Isonade Coast area on one of the eastern sides of the map, you’ll come across the Mending Rock Shrine. Follow the path towards the coast until you stumble upon the torii gates along with a sign that reads: “These torii gates lead to Mending Rock Shrine, sanctuary of Okuninushi, kami of medicine”.

Plum Blossom Shrine

Plum Blossom Shrine Location: Shigenori Peak

How to Get to Plum Blossom Shrine: In Shigenori Peak, right below the written name on the map, lies the Plum Blossom Shrine. In order to get there, go to the road that is just to the right, southeast of the Carved Mountain Hot Spring, and you’ll see a sign that says “These torii gates lead to Plum Blossom Shrine, sanctuary of Kagu-Tsuchi, kami of fire”.

Spring Falls Shrine

Spring Falls Shrine Location: Kukai’s Falls

How to Get to Spring Falls Shrine: North of Kukai’s Falls, just crossing over the actual fall by looking at the map, you’ll find the torii gates that will lead you to the Spring Falls Shrine. In your way you’ll find an introductory sign as usual that reads “These torii gates lead to Spring Falls Shrine, sanctuary of Mizu-no-Kami, kami of water”.

Arrow Peak Shrine

Arrow Peak Shrine Location: Sakimori Overlook

How to Get to Arrow Peak Shrine: The Arrow Peak Shrine can be found north of Sakimori Overlook on a high peak with burned bridges. As you walk around the road you’ll see a sign that says “These torii gates lead to Arrow Peak Shrine, sanctuary of Inari, kami of agriculture.”

Stone Dragon Shrine

Stone Dragon Shrine Location: Wolf Cub Falls

How to Get to Stone Dragon Shrine: From Wolf Cub Falls, travel all the way to the southwest edge of the map to find the Stone Dragon Shrine. Once your close a sign will greet you saying “These torii gates lead to Stone Dragon Shrine, sanctuary of Susanoo, kami of storms”.

Winding Mountain Shrine

Winding Mountain Shrine Location: Fallen Outpost

How to Get to Winding Mountain Shrine: Just around the Fallen Outpost, northeast from Exile’s Bluff, you’ll stumble upon the Winding Mountain Shrine. The sign outside will greet you with the following message: “These torii gates lead to Winding Mountain Shrine, sanctuary of Izanagi, kami of creation”.

Below are all the Shinto Shrine Locations in Act 2 – Retake Castle Shimura which is the Toyotama portion of the map.

Marsh Rock Shrine

Marsh Rock Shrine Shrine Location: Akashima

How to Get to Marsh Rock Shrine: This shrine can be found to the Northeast of Akashima Village in the first area of the Toytama Region. In fact, you can leave the town by its north exit past the abandoned temple and take the road all the way up to the Firefly Marsh were the shrine entrance is located.

Scarlet Rock Shrine

Scarlet Rock Shrine Shrine Location: Ugumi

How to Get to Scarlet Rock Shrine: This shrine can be found on the opposite side of the region from the Marsh Rock Shrine, all way to the West in the Ugumi region. You can find it on the southern edge of the Field of the Equinox Flower, just to the northeast of Umugi Cove.

Lush Peak Shrine

Lush Peak Shrine Shrine Location: Yarikawa

How to Get to Lush Peak Shrine: This shrine can be found to the to the East of the Yarikawa Stronghold, off the coast on a series of rocks rising up from the ocean. You can find it be taking the road north of Rebel’s Last Stand until the road veers to the right.

Cloud Ridge Shrine

Cloud Ridge Shrine Shrine Location: Kushi

How to Get to Cloud Ridge Shrine: This shrine can be found to North of the Yarikawa Prefecture along the upper coast in the Yarikawa area, north of Yarikawa Stronghold, and just a bit East of the Koshimizu Farmstead. It is found by following several roads east to the coast, past a cemetery and next to the site of a Duel.

Turtle Rock Shrine

Turle Rock Shrine Shrine Location: Kushi / Kubara

How to Get to Turtle Rock Shrine: This shrine can be found on the border of the Kushi and Kubara Prefectures in the center of the Toyotama region, north of the Old Toytama Hills and a bit West of Little Monk’s Pond, where several roads circle the high mountain peak.

Hazy Cliff Shrine

Hazy Cliff Shrine Shrine Location: Otsuna

How to Get to Hazy Cliff Shrine: This shrine can be found on the far west coast of the Toyotama region in the Otsuna prefecture. You can find it along the coast between the Yoshinaka Bay to the south, and the Musashi Coast to the north – west along the road from the Mamushi Farmstead.

Snowlit Peak Shrine

Snowlit Peak Shrine Location: North of Mount Jogaku and South of Whaler’s Coast.

How to Get to Snowlit Peak Shrine: Take the road east of Mount Jogaku and travel ahead. You’ll reach some archways that will lead you there.

Snowlit Peak Reward: Charm of Takemikazuchi: Killing an enemy increases Melee damage by a Minor amount for a few seconds.

Frost Cliff Shrine

Frost Cliff Shrine Location: Far East off of Kin village

How to Get to Frost Cliff Shrine: Reach Kin Village and go far east. Cu through the forest and go down and through the platforming section to the top of the shrine.

Frost Cliff Shrine Reward: Charm of Nigihayahi-no-mikoto: Deal Moderate bonus damage while at full health.

Crane Mountain Shrine

Crane Mountain Shrine Location: West of Bitter Hills; East of Fort Kikuchi (Sago Region)

How to Get to Frost Cliff Shrine: Cut through the mountains to make your way up the shrine.

Crane Mountain Shrine Reward: Charm of Ikazuchi-no-kami: Defense Charm – Perks and abilities that Terrify are 25% more likely to occur.
